This came from a thing Dan thought up, Conor and Mickey D jammed it out with him, then Conor edited it to 11 minutes with the computer really late one night. |

Story Behind the Song
Just when everyone thought the Riders were dead and gone forever, Dan IM'd Conor about forming a band for the Windsor High Battle of the Bands. As it turns out, he had actually already signed up using the name and the songs on this very site. I guess he's more than a fan, since he did have a guest vocal spot on "Cheesy Bread" (he was in the room doing something else when it was recorded). Anywho, being a laid back dude, Conor went along and when he was in town he swung around Duffek's room to jam out a demo of the song we plan to play at the show. Dan had a guitar part which he played while Duffek locked into the groove on the drum kit. Conor stood in the corner surrounded by synthesizers and parts of a crappy old drum kit, manipulating those to his liking with little regard for what Dan was doing. After Conor went back to school, Dan layed down some shit-hot guitar solos (he's a soloing sort of guy). The wav file found its way to Conor's hard drive, and late one night (and/or early one morning) he decided he'd make it interesting. You'll hear where he got overexcited. It's been cut nearly in half for the running length, using violent cuts and combinations. As with all things Rider-related, the fidelity is kept very low. This is because we're lazy when we're recording and don't spend much time placing mics and all that stuff. Screw that, leave that hi-fi stuff to Daniel Lanois and Ross Robinson, we're the fucking Riders, baby! RAAAAAWWKKKK!!!
