So this song is a release of my frustration and to tell her that Mayo is much Better Off now. :) :) Lyrically Better Off was written in an empty apartment. I had just gotten my own place and had nothing but cleaning supplies, cd player & a guitar a friend had let me borrow to learn some chords. With my pen and note pad, I let that baggage go for good................. Thus this song was created.
