A shorter version of the 14 minutes 34 seconds, Grand Guignol opus 'Message for Jimmy' which dominates the 'Stamp Out M-M-M-Madness in the Air' CD. This truncated, feedback mix has added rusty rocking chair, bottleneck-soup blues guitars by Blind Lemon Nige and Howlin' Trevor.
CD: 'Stamp Out M-M-M-Madness in the Air' - Nige and Trev (Rooftop Records CD abum - RTR003)   Label: Rooftop Records (Oxford UK)
    Credits: Mick Clack/Frank Fish/Paul Gibbon

    Story Behind the Song
'Message for Jimmy'was painstakingly constructed around a unique garbled answerphone message left
by Perry 'yer own worst enemy' Smith for his
ducking and diving brother, Whale, original tyrannical,tiger-balm annointed tub-thumper
of near-legendary aquatic rock pranksters, FRANK FISH and the FINS. Two long stressful years in the making, this moody, sometimes disturbing, sometimes hilarious, often mind-boggling Nige and Trev composition features spiritual sax
by Janie Shorter, profound piano by
Paul 'Maximus' Gibbon and dreamy drumming by the
elusive 'Jimmy' Marshall himself. Capped by the
scatterbrained, vehement, verbal acrobatics of King of
the hedgehogs and Prince of Grinding Gibberish,
Frank Fish and the meandering, tormented
electric guitar pandemonium of Mick Clack, 'Message for
Jimmy' warns the world that there truly are
seventeen people in a party of eighteen who ruin it for the rest of them.
