	Story Behind the Song This song started as a joke while watching television - many years ago. Making it fit with the Craven album was as simple as finally adding more lyrics than just "Motorcycle On Fire." Now it's a look at breaking up and growing up; yet in a nihilistic and (hopefully) enjoyable song. Bass and guitars were recorded despite a good sized cut on my left thumb. Lyrics Craven woke up freshened and he started his new day He was gonna get his stuff while Annie was away Then he saw a bunch of smoke and asked "what's going on?" Unprepared he ran downstairs to find a fire on his lawn. Annie was a waiting with a smile on her face She had a box of blue tip matches and an emptied out milk crate She said, "I burned your letters and your favorite cd And that model motorcycle that you made for me." Craven sort of smiled And as he walked away He sort of shrugged his shoulders And sang.... (and he sang...) "Motorcycle on fire!"
