	Story Behind the Song The motivation behind the song was being torn apart inside about a relationship and that's basically what the lyrics are all about. The song was written in two stages; the lyrics were developed first and after the vocals were done, guitars and bass (and finally, of course, drums, samples and percussion) were done around the theme of the song and around the vocal melody. The whole thing didn't take too long - we had lots of inspiration. Recording was done in about 20 minutes because we needed only about 2 takes for the drums and double takes for the vocals, guitars and bass. The only thing that took some more time was the wah part of the guitar during the verse - 4 or 5 takes.
