Lyrics
The sky is a black box filled with stars, anxiety,
and other metal boxes of dreams and women.
In the winter all there is, is pictures of Rose(s),
and other perennials that are juxtaposed then fade into one another.
Everything's Beautiful.
Everything's Beautiful.
Then there's the silence.
When the silence starts to fall, and creations start to grow,
you shoot me down. I fall.
The skies all blame the wet sad rains, all the flowers begin to bend.
I'm gonna fade away with you.
Here comes old, mighty, Icarus again.
Stirring up sadness in our eyes.
He doesn't know how strong we are.
He's go something in his big, deep, blue, skater pockets, from the sea
that he calls "possibilities."
He laughs in our faces. He just laughs in our faces, and asks
"What do you think about that?"
(I'll tell you) When I think about the future.
My eyes start to sing of sadness. I cry.
Then I sit and search for all the letters and the lines that say it all.
I become afraid. I sit and watch the time change.
It does that constantly.
Like when I test the waters to see if everything is fine with you.
It usually is. Until I get a little out of hand, and everything starts to slam
against the walls. Of we. Of love.
To smiles, and occurrences like that, and to saying i'm getting my chance...
to love you like I wanted. It's better then I could imagine. Who could imagine?
