Story Behind the Song
I wanted to rap. So I rapped.
Lyrics
I always dream big but i end up living smaller than a 3 dollar, after hour, after-nooner rocker.
Rocking small clubs, venues hating everything about me cause i never bring the crowds like the bigger better after me.
But somehow i tell my friends 'everybody keep your pride and head up', ain't nobody pushin you today because i'm making sure that the word is spoken, from the place i'm standing, out your speakers, to the ears of many.
Can you hear me? Oooh.
I need you to hear me, oooh.
I need a miracle to finish this song.
I never slow down to accept awards, attempt to feel triumphant. Cause everything i do makes me feel worthless.
But i'm standing, shaking, breathing, i'm not far from breaking. No sir, i'm not smoking with ya anymore. I'm angry, maybe, but somehow i'll build up my own city, it will be the miracle i'm asking for. Despite this hatred i feel for myself everyday i'll dust it off, and then i'm gonna run away to somewhere where nobody can hurt me. I'm dancing all around in a revolution i myself created, instated, close to incubated. And i'm running out of ideas on a way that we can understand each other someday.
But then i woke up one day in a land where no one knew who i was. I realized it to be reality, in who could i trust? I drew upon my own life experiences and travelled paths i never knew of before. I found myself a place to be me, with one box of candles and a merri-go-round horse. I made a story for myself to pass the time, but in the end our Heroine gave birth to chains and then stood up and walked away. The merri-go-round steed now gave birth to another who receeded, often pleaded to be taken from her mother.
Because her mother was only going in circles
