I'M BACK IN BUSINESS - This is a temporary version of my first recorded song - temporary until my friends (and if you would please give me feedback at logans@ufl.edu or AIM:STRUNGOUTGETUPKI, that would be great) give me their comments. Otherwise, see what the song means to you. |
CD: The Wake Forest Revolution

Story Behind the Song
This song was done in bits and pieces; any spare moment I could find, where R. Jay (Leaves Still Green - check him out) wasn't around or I didn't have class or a test, I was recording and/or mastering on my roommate's recording equipment...which isn't a lot of time. I wrote the lyrics in college after a few odd experiences, but the guitar was the first piece I ever wrote acoustically. Unfortunately, because R. Jay will be back in Ft. Lauderdale for the summer I won't be able to record, so if you happen to like this song you'll have to wait a while till I can finish - cause I have a bunch partially done - more songs. And once again, your comments would be much appreciated (logans@ufl.edu).

around me/you.
chor: Your lies advertise a pleasure-fuck vacation for two.
Your affair should have ended there, when I admitted to loving you.
refrain: But it's not so easy now...
You're a big girl any...
