I started working on this song the day the US began bombing Baghdad and finished it on 4-17-03. Bush only seems to refer to the world as "good and evil". This war has taken thousands of innocent lives. Over half of Iraq's population are age 14 and under. The terror they must have felt is unimaginable. Once again, the victims of war are children. Iraqi school children (recorded some time before the war) sing in this one, though I doubt it was during music class(!). In the song, you'll hear Bush saying "The evil ones thought that we were weak. Uh....they didn't understand us." Such un-feeling and cruel statements, made when he knew damned-well many children (and other innocents) had just died because of his insistance of going to war, most killed directly by US armaments. I really don't think Iraqi children think of the US as weak. That sort of talk was really meant for US consumption, to justify going to war. Consequently, the value of human life is belittled even more. The Cheney/Bush regime's forever war against evil continues. When does it end? (Those who follow my music: Yes, I did use a familiar groove or two in it.) | MP3.com CD: Newspeak - buy it!
