Memorable has a lot of blues influence in it. Bongo drums combine with jazz/blues guitar part, bass, and two distinct vocal lines. Tyler wants no two songs to sound alike. This one definately accomplishes that. He excludes the violin in this song because he wants it to be as simple as possible. The song is worth listening to, especially when considering the lyrics. |

Credits: On this song, Tyler Somers sings and plays guitar and bass. The drums are loops that are edited by Somers. |
Story Behind the Song
Tyler Somers wrote Memorable after a severe car accident in July 2002. Originally, the lyrics had to do with his appreciation of life after the car accident, but later, after rewriting the many of the lyrics, the song came to mean something more meaningful. The chorus is simple. "Life is born; It's all amazing." After revising the lyrics, the song talked about the significance of the day he accepted Christ into his life.

Verse 1
This day is memorable
And I know that I don’t need no control.
And in the long run, when the subject is pondered, I’ll be happier.
I’m more alive.
Pre-chorus
Cause’ some days like this one, they are so unexpected, and I can’t believe how fast the change happened.
One minute I was lost, and now I’m found. The next I know that I have hope.
I have hope.
And y’all can have this hope.
Chorus
And life was born.
It’s all amazing.
And life was born.
I can’t forget this day, never forget this day
Verse 2
And I know, what it’s like.
Yet most do, insist on having it their own way.
It’s okay cause it’s simple. We were meant for a relationship.
It’s hard to look past everyday for something more, but so easy to find.
Pre-chorus
Chorus
End
