	Story Behind the Song My buddy Steve and I sat in a writing room in Nashville wanting to write about something that would encourage people to look beyond the world’s definition of beauty. I was reminded of what the Lord says of scrawny, little David before He was chosen as King of Israel in I Samuel 16:7. “…The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart.” Although my heart may not always be the most beautiful to look upon, I’m so glad that I am made perfect in His Image.
