Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song sometime when I was in High School (1992-ish). I re-recorded it last year (2002).
Lyrics
Innocently, I ran my daily life
In fear of nothing, for nothing had I done
Living freely, no one in my way
Life's ultimate struggle, I thought I had won
Until that day of doom, that day of fear
The day everyone knew they would die
They day we were attacked by the spear
Of the neurolymphomatisae
CHORUS
Neurolymphomatisae, neurolymphomatisae
Chop off a leg, poke out an eye
For the Neurolymphomatisae
Sometimes you know, sometimes you don't
To find out what was attacking us
The dictionary, it was our answer
This whatever-it-was was a blob of puss
A kind of mononucleosis in chickens
The afflicted parts were the legs and wings
I thought that the human race
Would never gain these things
CHORUS
