Avec un nom pioché dans le passé télévisuel des années 70, Aujourd'Hui Madame se positionne moins dans la nostalgie larmoyante que dans l'héritage futé d'un passé encore présent. Fondé sur les ruines de Qu4tre, auteur d'un mini-album ("Un Jour, J'Irai En Norvège") remarqué à sa sortie en mars 1995, et de Spaciba (où l'on retrouvait également le talentueux Sébastien Schuller), le quartette parisien mélange volontiers l'énergie rythmique du rock 60's (The Who en tête) avec un don mélodique jamais démenti (Paul Weller ad vitam æternam) et une écriture francophile toujours fine. Auteur d¹une récente démo trois titres qui circule déjà sur quelques ondes radiophoniques, Aujourd'Hui Madame parie sur son tube "Les Hommes Savent Pourquoi" et le jamesque "Dans La Cuisine" pour s¹attirer les faveurs d'un label bienveillant. Rompus à l'exercice de la scène, le chanteur-guitariste Philippe Lavergne et ses trois musiciens enchanteront sans mal leurs premiers spectateurs parisiens. Aujourd'Hui Madame ? Demain des stars.
