	Story Behind the Song Ira Gitler used the term "Sheets of Sound" in describing Coltrane's playing. It inspired this emotion-filled piece. This poem was originally written for a Coltrane Birthday celebration where the band from the Church of Coltrane provided a beautiful rendition of Naima as a backdrop.
