From the ashes of numerous Midwest hardcore bands, the four members of Spitalfield converged together to create a sound distinctly their own. Interested in playing something more heartfelt and sincere, founding members Mark Rose (vocals/guitar) and J.D. Romero (drums) began writing songs that combined their alt/indie rock influences with a more overt pop sensibility and the energy and immediacy of hardcore. They soon found members Dan Lowder (guitar) and T.J. Minich (bass) who shared their love of playing, rehearsing and touring. Spitalfield was born.

    Story Behind the Song
Since the band's inception, they have amassed a large and devoted hometown crowd, largely thanks to their energetic and visceral live shows. In the past three years the band has taken every opportunity to play whenever and wherever they could. From large venues to basements, they have performed with bands that range from Jurassic 5 to Thursday and everyone in between, including acts such as: Hey Mercedes, Rise Against, Brand New, The Casket Lottery, The Stereo, Allister and The Movielife. The band has toured nationwide and has done several Midwest tours, sacrificing everything for the opportunity to showcase their live act in front of new people.
