	Story Behind the Song About three years ago, I attended a church retreat with New Creation Christian Assembly at Palomar Mountain Christian Conference Center in Southern California. The guest speaker, Dennis O'Hanlon was sharing that in order to grow spiritually, and have a victorious Christian life, we need to "feed our faith and starve our fears". I jotted that down and within a week had completed this song. Lyrics Verse 1: Your Word O God is like honey, honey O so sweet. Filling my heart with Your presence, Lord. With You alone will I meet. When doubts arise I go running, running to Your Word. Putting to death whatever fears and lies I have heard. Chorus: I'm gonna feed my faith, and starve my fear. With simple child-like faith, I'll always find Him near. When faith goes in, love comes out. When my thoughts are His, no room for doubt. Verse 2: I feed my self with Jesus, hungry for your love. I drink your joy into my life, filled with your peace from above. Faith is only substance of things not seen or heard. Given wings we could fly away like a bird.
