	Story Behind the Song This song is part 2 of a song I wrote on the piano in 1988. The lyrics are about trying to find yourself in such a violent atmosphere. Wanting to know who you are and what your purpose on this planet is. I wrote this song in Elizabeth, NJ in 1997. The song was basically writen a finger-picked tune and was way too short to become any type of song, I wanted to make it longer but once I got back to the "A" I could not move forward no matter what I did. Eventually I decided in making that the "foundation" of the song so I had to come up with a "voice" or let another instrument do the talking. The song in total took about a week to write and 3 days to record. The lead guitar or "voice" of the song as I call it resulted in many takes, that took the entire last day of recording because I wanted it to come out perfect so I played and played with effects until I was satisfied.
