    Story Behind the Song
I woke up one morning realizing I had been distracted. All the things I had been chasing lately had been in vain. This song draws upon my faith and my realization that I had been longing for the true comfort found only in my spiritual walk.

    Lyrics
    Morning comes.
    Quietly the day sets in.
Awakened by the birds outside my windowpane,
    I rise.
    I watch the dew,
Strewn like pearls upon the grass.
The gentle breath of Autumn makes me stop
    To Think of you.
    A familiar sound,
    Carried by the ocean breeze
Reminds me of the way you once whispered my name
    And I
    I've grown older.
    Would I recognize you now?
And would you see beyond the way I've let you down?

I can still remember the way your eyes would shine looking back at me.
I couldn't take my eyes off you.
But chasing after the rainbow's end in hopes I'd find the girl or the pot of gold,
    Somehow you faded from view.

    Much like sunlight,
You brought warmth and a vibrant hue,
Breaking through in my darkest hour when I called out to you.
But then the clouds rolled in,
And all I knew was the wind and the rain,
    Or were you there?

I can still remember the way your eyes would shine looking back at me.
I can still remember the way your eyes would shine.
    Shine down on me.
