	Story Behind the Song We wrote this song almost entirely as a band. I had the chorus and a lyrical idea and we wrote the rest during a rehearsal. I wanted to portray that feeling of wanting to forget someone, but not being able to. Lyrics I know that we agreed that we would not see each other anymore. We're like oil and water. I know the saying goes that when you are out of sight, you're out of mind. That has not been true. That has not been true with you. I can see you in my mind. I can see you in my mind. Your face is over me like a haunting image on a movie screen. With eyes that pierce right through me. I imagine us and you hold me close and kiss me tenderly. But it's all a dream. And it's stuck in my reality. I know that we agreed and I won't see you anymore. But there's a problem. . .
