	Story Behind the Song I once had a dog named Charlie who would lay under my piano while I was working on songs at the piano. Whenever my foot would start tapping at the tempo, he had this habit of licking my toes. I could never figure it out. So I decided to write a tune for Charlie which made me think of the great Alto player, Charlie Parker - Be-bop!
