Story Behind the Song
Where to begin... Well, our story starts with a young boy reading an Edward Albee play beneath the beautiful Willow trees in a bucolic southern town late one afternoon. Cognizant of Albee's latent homosexuality, the boy's thoughts drift farther and farther back into his childhood when the old man who used to stoke the family's furnace free of charge also took advantage of the boy's virgin rear end at odd intervals. Suddenly, and epiphanic upwelling of lust and emotion charge into the boy's body, electrifying his nipples and sudden love of the Village People. Tearing across the village field and rending the clothing from his bodice, he collapses in homoerotic ecstasy deep within the bowels of the wheat.
The song was written in the garage of a local heroin addict in exchange for a dime bag. It took only one take.
