"From Me To You" was written for my wife on the night we first met (musicians get inspired by the strangest things :). This is actually my original "idea" demo that ended up more complete than most. I still find myself singing the melodies from time to time. Check out the song details for more information.

Story Behind the Song
This tune was recorded with much of the same equipment as "You Can't Do That" except for the amp. I used a Marshall JCM 800 Super Lead half stack for the guitars. I remember recording this tune in an apartment with some neighbors that weren’t quite as interested in my music as I was - so I had to improvise some noise control. I stacked pillows, blankets, seat cushions, whatever I could find, completely around the amp making a makeshift iso room (you couldn't even see the amp - it was like building forts as a kid!). I was able to crank it loud enough to crunch and get a sound I was happy with at the time (and as a bonus, I didn’t get evicted). I always liked this song and plan to re-record it someday. I will probably shorten it a bit and certainly do something with those monotonous drums.
