Story Behind the Song
The song is in support for American Troops and the sacrifice they and their familes are making for this country. The song was written in my garage, one of my song writing places, that way I don't bother my wife, she doesn't like to be bothered by my songs, she thinks what I'm doing is stupid, and it makes her mad. The song took about 20 minutes to write, but I was hurrying because I didn't want to her to catch me, and after that there were rewrites, that took time. It took three weeks to find someone who would record it, then another two weeks to record it. I tried shopping it to places, Radio stations that said they support American Troops, people to play it but I couldn't get anyone to play it.. so I decided to try putting it on MP3.com and some of the other internet sites.
