Story Behind the Song
This song was initially created as a result of the stale boredom of a hot summer day in England. The influence of many of our songs, true! However, i feel that this song truly took a shape of its own in an almost flood of ideas, both individually and collectively as a band. Lyrically its a tune concluding that moral obligations are an essential force of fulfilled human existence. The idea is an exploration into our realisation of what makes us enjoy life. Including literally Little things such as noticing "little birdies on the branches of the willowing tree" or "Beams of golden God's sunlight" it signifies the world's ingredients that should, but rarely do, make us sit up and understand how lucky we are. "thats when we realise we're living good lives!"
Lyrics
Superstition, no holds barred,
Cuz when we notice little birdies on the branches of the willowing tree
Realize that we star
In open mindedness, confining us to witness limitations so free?
Thats when we realize we are living good lives
Thats when we realize we are living good lives
Suffer in silence, scream out loud
Sing when your happiness runs out
Dance and the smile spreads like rain
Ribbon pearl, eyes that gleam
Dirty sins are washed away all holy and clean
Rock and roll, sex and truth go together like the weather that never minds you
Beams of golden sunlight
As the human of the humans loses sight of love she needs
Unless she would choose
The same as borrowings not borrowing unless we make the choice to not lose
Thats when we realize we are living good lives
Thats when we realize we are living good lives
Suffer in silence, scream out loud
Sing when your happiness runs out
Dance and the smile spreads like rain
Ribbon pearl, eyes that gleam
Dirty sins are washed away all holy and clean
Rock and roll, sex and truth go together like the weather that never minds you
How many roads have passed me by?
Before I strutted up, before made a change to my life.
How many roads have passed me by?
Before I strutted up, before I made a change to my life.
