Story Behind the Song
A song about how much a girl really means to you and how much you really care and wishing hoping she feels the same way. The song was written at Alex Grubaugh's house. It toke a day to write it. It took a couple of hours to record it, and about 4 or 5 takes.
Lyrics
I'm licking this envelope with a letter address to you.
I can see your fingers running across the fold.
Wishing it was a kiss, when I sent it.
And this letter enclosed, I hope it shows what you want to know and how I love you so.
And I'm waiting impatiently for your reply.
Although I see the pages burning in my mind.
Would you set fire to this dream?
Would you set fire, this dream I believe everything so surene.
And this note that I blow.
I can see you going, walking away.
I sent you a letter, I hope that you read it.
I sent you a letter, beg you not to burn it.
I sent you a letter, I hope that you read it.
I sent you a letter, beg you not to burn it.
I sent you a letter, I hope that you read it.
I sent you a letter, beg you not to burn it.
I sent you a letter, I hope taht you read it.
I sent you a letter, beg you not to burn it.
I sent you a letter, I hope that you read it.
I sent you a letter, please don't burn it please.
