	Story Behind the Song The follow-up to "Run", the music for this one wrote itself in about 10 minutes, and the lyrics were ad-libbed in this one-take recording, from little snippets of poetry I'd been trying to work on. I added the sweeping flanger/phaser effect afterwards, feeling that it added somewhat to the sort of eerie swimming/reeling/falling of both the lyrics and music. Lyrics Sitting in a shrouded cloud, full of everything I know to be wrong What can I do? Somehow the world convinced me that I was not the one who cared Somehow the system taught me that I was the one insane What will I do? And when I'm walking down the road, and the city lights shimmer on the hillside, it makes me peaceful knowing you're all here, bustling around in your lives without me. Without me. What kind of dream is this? When will I forget that I'm alive? What will I do?
