Story Behind the Song
Back in college, a close friend once told me that the real me was stuck behind a dam. And, the outside me was the boy with his finger in the crack, holding me back. But, one day that dam wouldn't hold anymore.
This song relates back to that. But, instead of a dam, I use the butterfly: I hope to be reborn as something new.
