	Story Behind the Song Neurotic is the pinnacle of Mr. Wolff’s Piano Trio. Epic in scope, the third movement pulls the listener through brutal marches, eerie ice-covered radioactive wastelands, and through the earths inner core; all leading to an incredible finale which truly brings this work full circle. The third movement was the last finished, and it was only in the last weeks of composition did I begin to gain a clear conception of the work from both a musical and structural standpoint. The first musical material within the Third movement which I composed was in fact the largo section which appears in the middle. Serial in nature, this work sought to combine, with much success, the various components of my technique into a cohesive style which drew upon my strengths of lyrical and melodic writing. I must also include, that this performance was indeed amazing, I would like to thank all of my top notch performers for their un-equaled loyalty towards my musical vision, and their un-failing virtuosic technique from which they have approached the score.
