Lyrics
The downtown streets, they seem so safe, they seem so bare,
shadowed by skyscrapers and smog filled air.
we drive these streets without concern without a care but ancient ruins and ancient lives are with us everywhere.
I'm sure the Romans felt fine, they should have kept it in mind, the higher you climb the harder you fall. Its an illusion of security it could all crumble just as easily. Its a fine line they walked when they saw the decline of the great Roman empire.
We build so high, not cuz we should because we can,
and build so strong to dominate in foreign lands,
but here at home, greed overtakes domestic hands and ancient minds and ancient souls govern our demands.
