	Story Behind the Song Elena, my girlfriend at the time, (now my fiance') kept insisting that I write a song for her. I finally directed my attention away from 'the cause' long enough to write at least half a song soley for her. Originally I was going to propose to her in this song, ("I purpose that we get together, we've got to love one another and protect each other..")which I kind of did, but solidified the purposal with a view overlooking Berkeley and a fat rock to go on her finger. The rest of the song is dedicated to everyone who wants to make a positive change in the world, or who has ever felt like there is an unifying element that seems to be left out of the mix in today's society... I took me about two days to record this song, in my room, using a towel wrapped around the microphone to keep out the back-round noise caused by my 10 housemates. Lyrics Pie, you know that you're my baby, know that you're my girl. Know that what we have they cannot buy, they cannot sell. We have the tie that binds; the love that finds its way down the path less traveled. Then we'll be together like the birds and bees, building up a bright future full of prosperity. You'll teach the children, and I'll write these songs, got to spread the word of love so we can all get along, because... It's up to us babe got to see through this illusion, got this thing called TIME that just adds to the confusion and I know there's others, others like us who want to change the world, we want to bring it back up. So, we've got to pave the way like sage's of old, not in the search of personal profit or the cities of gold, but in the wealth of our future, the people who care, we've got to make way for those children with that Indigo flair. SO,I pupose that we ALL get together,got to love one another and protect each other and, seek your own truths, as this is the final hour. You've got to look deep within to begin on your search, on your quest for your higher power. And just like that story about CREATION, when Eve Created thought, then we all EVOLVED, and look how far away we got from the beginning of that one moment (it was the beginning of the end) it was infinity X infinity, and infinity X 10. -And some where there the first time. We watched it all crash down, it was abuse of our own technology that caused our entire species to drown. We are these various peoples with various cultures from variable paths, we all have these miniscule differences, that lead back to the inevitable fact that...
