This entire song was basically an excuse to use the intro guitar part. It's about how girls can be so mean, yet mean so much.

    Story Behind the Song
This entire song is based around the intro guitar part that I wrote September 2002. It kind of got lost under a pile of other things I had written until one day when I was reorganizing my files in december. I decided it was time to finally finish the song, and a few hours later this is what I had. Late January I added tamborine and some reverb. This is just a thrown together version of the song. Eventually I want to put some time into it and record it for real. If you have time, let me know what you think of it.

    Lyrics
Why do things just fall apart
    when I think everything's good
    I need to run
    I'm on my own
    so just let me go
some day this will come back to you
and you won't know what to do
like every time you turned to me
but I won't be there for you

    I'm losing everything
    I'm lettting myself go

you always tell me what to think
you always talk behind my back
I always payed when we went out
    I wasn't sure you'd go without
    the reassurance that there's someone
    who will always be there
now I'm tired of this trend
    and I'm not gonna pretend

why do you have to lie?
and cover up your tracks with
painful thoughts you just bring back to me
why can't you just tell the truth?
    every day it's something new
    and now things are through.
