Lyrics This song isn't good and it's not even bad enough to be funny it's the uncomfortably mediocre stuck in the bottom of the clearance pile type of song It's a song about a trapeze net all day long the net would sit and wait and then the people would fill the arena and the net thought it would finally be of some use "Dirt," it said, "surely at least one of these people flying up above me is going to fall. Then I can save them from you, and everybody will applaud at how well I did my job." But nobody ever fell, so the net just stayed there and talked with the dirt. They talked about how once the net saved a human life, he would be set free to be of use to somebody else. The net really had his heart set on fishing. He really had his heart set on climbing the corporate ladder for StarKist Tuna.
