	Story Behind the Song This song was written one morning about a month after the 9/11 tradgety. It takes you on a journey to the wonderful possibility of peace to America and the world by way of the American Eagle and the Dove of Peace. We recorded it in 2 takes. Lyrics The Eagle and The Dove I have this vision in my mind I'm standing by the shore gazing into the sky I watch an Eagle soar Magestically and proud he saunters up above then from a distant cloud appears a snow white dove (chourus) Aren't we all just waiting for the day a time of sweet release when the American Eagle flies in unity with the Dove of Peace I watch them as they sway they seem so far apart silently I pray hope is in my heart cause... (repeat chourus) they drift magnetically then graciously they meet then glide in harmony their union is complete on wings of serenity like poetry in flight there's pure tranquility as they fade into the light and...
