	Story Behind the Song When someone who has never been to California thinks of California, they imagine many things. Hollywood, traffic, palm trees, movie stars, beaches, sunshine, freaks, drugs, dreams and disaster are some of those things. As a non-native who has lived in California for ten years, when I think of California I think of rain and freeways and the radio playing endlessly.
