Hailing from Hollywood, California. This man originated the competition phrase. On this track he works with Rusty Russ. Judges comments: 1. this is quite good, a lot of things going on, but this doesnt sound
like a song 2. It has everything -- Noise, Funk, Middle-eastern bell and hell, even
vecoder (is that what you call the equipment that turns yr voice into robot
sound?) -- psychedelia sound that eats into your subconscious. 3. A song with lots of diversity, which, I'm afraid is it's only bonus point. We seem to go from sounds of Africa, Battle of the Bands, through an awful attempt at contemporary music, then back into back hard rock. The techno voice use does not seem to work with the end of the song which sounds like it has sampled the drumming from the Clash's Straight to Hell. Whilst effort has obviously been put into this one, I'm afraid it has strayed too far 4. This one is Coooooool too. Is that a vocoder over the cantonese
speaking? it is the classic 21st century "ET-PHONE-HOME" sound. of course,
after ET phones home, the Nihilists come and clean up the place: loud,
head-banging section follows. (perhaps that was just ET descending upon
earth, again.) then we have an ethnic pipe-like / middle-eastern section,
rounded off by the return of the vocoder. VERY BEAUTIFUL AND DIVERSE SONIC
