	Story Behind the Song The song took a few months to write as a whole. It was written in a run-down studio apartment, all that I could afford after the divorce, amidst the noise and clutter of KC, MO. "Down to you", was inspired by my recent divorce from my wife of 5 years. It really tells the story of how we really gave the whole love affair a try, but just could'nt make it work. Now, as I sit back and reflect, I realize that she will always be the only one whom I will ever truly love and that whomever may come next, will only be second best. I spent about one hour to two hours to record the song, with only one take for the instrumental part of it, and maybe three takes for the vocals. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks.
