	Story Behind the Song As I was sitting in my basement picking this little riff, I heard someone at my front door and it turned out to be an evangelical trying to save me... could their be some sort of divine intervention at work here? As with most all of my songs this was recorded as a single live take... no overdubs, no edits, just pure from me to you. Lyrics It was just yesterday, a man come knockin' at my door. Yeah, it was just yesterday when a man come knockin' at my door. I had to put down my guitar, and I went up there to see what he was knockin for. Well he told me that Jesus might come back today. Yes he told me that Jesus might come back today. Well I hope that God forgive me, cause I ain't quite ready to be saved. Yeah when God up in heaven he can't save a soul he just gives him the blues and then he let him grow old.
