	Story Behind the Song a song that should have been cut in half, but instead, we ripped it in two! the story goes, me and jamie were on his parent's front porch smoking cigarettes some spring or summer evening...there was some warm wet wind goin on, nothin too impressive by oregon standards...but the remark was made that it was the onset of hurricane max, the wimpiest hurricane ever. we decided at once it should be made into a song, and jamie said that hurricane max was a tropical breeze...and i said he wasn't any stronger then a kitty kat sneeze...and then jamie took it and ran. the song probably should have ended after the story...but then you would have missed jamie breaking a string and the nasal kazoo stylings of mike the magnificent. the supremes paid a surprise visit to the litterbox and lent their beautiful voices for backup. at least...they looked like the supremes... Lyrics hurricane max was a tropical breeze... he wasn't any stronger than a kitty kat sneeze... always rumblin always scrapin, he'd go down everytime... but hurricane'd still tell ya he was doin just fine... tsunami sal was hurricane's gal... she wasn't real pretty but she had a lot of style... she found him in the cold, after he'd lost another fight... and now she keeps hurricane warm everynight... tough typhoon tony came bustin in like a storm... he was lookin for sally, and alla her charms... max stood his ground, tony bust through the door... but tony knocked hurricane right to the floor... max been in fights all his life... but he ain't won a one in alla those tries... some people say, "hurricane? he's just unlucky..." but really it's just 'cause his fighting was sucky... but when tony started messin his girl in that bar... he went and took max just a little too far... his rage it grew hot and his head, man, it swirled! and hurricane stood up and he rocked tony's world! now hurricane max was a tropical breeze... but for sal he was strong as alla the seas... oh, max and his girl are still together you know... and now he and sal got a little el nino...
