	Tribute: Black Sun. I recently played with a Bay Area band organized by my buddy, Thaen Rasmussen (Anvil Chorus), called 'Black Sun'. This track, "Black Sun", was written by Thaen; I join the band on rhythmn guitar for this live mix demo. These recordings have a 'pre-production' feel. Thaen added guitar leads and overdubs after a one take recording of the band. I am now working on a recording at Ausiosfx.com facilities with my band, "9 to 1". "9 to 1" includes Slade Anderson (Snot, My Victim, Mersinary, Mordred) on drums and Bill Storkson (Audiosfx.com, My Victim, Assassin) on bass.

	Story Behind the Song This is a live, rough, instrumental mix of a song called 'Black Sun' by the band "Black Sun". We got four songs down on tape on a Sunday; this song took one take. I left the group before vocals were recorded to work on a studio recording of my own material with "9 to 1". The guys in "Black Sun" are all super great guys with a high caliber of musicianship and I really enjoyed playing with them. I just couldn't pass up a chance to work on my own stuff in "9 to1" with some other quality guys... I'm not going to keep these "Black Sun" mp3s flying at this site for too long as I recently quit the band. Just wanted to share a recent recording. Hope you like the stuff.
