Story Behind the Song
This song is about people who have a lot going for them, and just give up due to a loss of drive or fuel. (No kerosine) They become broken satellite's, their signal's lost in night. This song was really a pleasure to write. We enjoy the groove and high energy of the tune.
Lyrics
Anger coarses through his face,
As he decides to quit the race,
Another famous flame put out
No kerosine
They blame the judges, blame the track
He can't explain, pushes them back
Secret seems so close to him
Broken Satellite
Signals Lost In Night
Never breaking any skins,
She covets coats and closet sins,
She walks across a coal-ved fire
No care, it seems
But suddenly she's taken fright
Mirror's talking in the night
She answers no one else at home
Broken Satellite
Signal's lost in night
Shattered glass is falling,
Can't you hear them calling
Living lamps with blinding hearts,
Burning quickly missing parts.
Left to rust as mantle toys,
No kerosine
Fortune's wheel is spins so fast
No sooner high you're falling past.
The silence echo's in the night
Broken Satellite
Signals lost in night.
