Reworking of an old traditional Blues often associated with Mississippi John Hurt. I added a new verse in the middle to help bring the lyrics into the more paranoid times we live in nowadays. Features some hot mandolin picking, and fingerstyle guitar. |

Story Behind the Song
The song is basically the usual Blues sexual metaphor - this time the singer appears to be pleading for someplace to stay. However,I tend to take it at face value, ignoring the metaphor, and use it as a plea for a roof over my head that night, if I'm out on the road. It usually works ;-)
