	Story Behind the Song On the edge of civilization near the Santiam Pass a snowstorm came. The windows in my studio faced out toward the river and the mountains beyond. The snow came softly and gently at first. I started working on this ditty and I couldn't put it down. The storm hit, wave after wave for thirty hours till the snow was five feet deep and the recording was finished. This song is a time lapse of that storm.
