	I composed this duet for cello and piano specifically for a cello recital. This incredible live performance by Ann Hughes and Sar Shalom Strong has them lending their emotional range to this piece that's filled with both sensitivity and fury. A pop-sensibilty weaves into the melodies that wash through the song. The virtuosity from the ferocious speed to the most delicate pizzicatto sections helps to provide constant movement through the build-ups, tensions, and releases.
