Stephen: "I wrote this song in a day in my loft apartment in Marietta, Ga. We had rehearsal that night, and this song just poured from my heart after reading 2 Samuel 7. We played it for quite some time before we got a chance to put it on the new demo. The studio time was donated, so we had to knock it out plain a simple. But I think that really helped us capture the simplicity and purity of the song."
