	Story Behind the Song I had just broken up with my girlfriend and I was watching the movie "The Great Escape" starring Steve Mcqueen and I thought, "Hey that'd be a great song!" It took me about 20 minutes to write all the lyrics and music. The chorus was the 1st thing to pop into my head..."I know I tried to run away, I know I ran the great escape, I know that maybe I wasn't that great, But I still tried!" In the end it just turned into a break-up song....SORRY STEVE! LoL Anyway I feel like I'm doin' a crappy version of VH1 Storytellers...
