	Story Behind the Song The statement "On The 9" means= STAYING TRUE TO IT & 9 is the closet we can get to be Perfect!!!.....Well my name is Mayo. I wrote M-City because for many years music city has been looked on as nothing but country music. Don't get me wrong I respect what country music has done for M-City. But I also know its more to Nashville than country music. So lyrically the song tell about M-City today. I am a native of Nashville, & I Love This City. SO this is my way of showing MY LUV. M-City took about month to write & record. Ken Kennedy & I write well together. He is a great producer with much patience for my creative flow. We just have fun, thus time just fly by while in the studio. While creating M-City we wanted to make sure the music & lyrics touched as many people as possible. That will help us spread the Building Bridges Thru Music (B.B.T.M.) message.
