	Story Behind the Song Just as the title implies,I was headed down a long dark road.The realization that life goes on whether I'm here or not was a sobering reality. I was hanging out at a crack house when I started this song and the progression is from that time.The words were written after I'd been clean for a while,done on the fly with my co/producer Todd Ensminger.
