	Story Behind the Song I guess I had to put this one up sooner or later. Sometimes it feels like someone else wrote it. From time to time I even forget what was going on, how this song wouldn't even have been written if I didn't call a friend asking for advice. The music was already there waiting for me, and with a fresh recollection of a relationship I will never understand, the words came by to visit as well. Definitely a whole book of firsts...the studio, the writing, all of it which now seems so commonplace and businesslike. The original version of the song was recorded in 1997, with my old friend John DeGrazio (the other mind behind it), and it was a grand affair. This one came two years later, after more changes in my life than I ever could have imagined. I dare say it's more world-weary and mature than the original...I like it.
