Story Behind the Song
The story of this tune is a bit funny because it started by the loss of the bass track which was then only listenable through the ambience mike. While trying to get it back on the amience track with some strong equalizing, it occured to me that adding a trip-hop beat and some scratching could be fine. So I talked to a friend of mine who heard the song and came back a few days later with a programmed drum sequence and other things. This was it. I decided to add some sitar but this friend of mine played it because he felt it more emotionally than I did. And here it is.
Jean-Luc GILLET still plays rhythm and solo but this time electric guitar.
Vincent CARPENTIERS did the same job on rhythm and solo electric guitar and moved the rain stick.
My friend Vincent LACOPPOLA emotionally played the sitar and did the programming job.
I (Tony BERTRAND) still played the electric fretless bass and lost my own track.
