A song about Star 69's take over of the main stream Rock scene to bring it back to where it used to be in its glory days.
    CD: Star 69   Label: None

    Story Behind the Song
A love of Rock and Roll and the idea that we (Star 69) want to bring it back to where it was and to a plce where we can love it again and everyone can embrace it. The lyrics basically represent our take over of the current rock scene in an imaginary full blown warthat we have to go through to reach our goal. The song was written jamming to a pre recorded guitar riff in my dorm room. The song took about an hour to write. To record, the song took about an hour record vocals, and thirty minutes to get down the instrumental track. It took about 5 takes on the instrumental, and about 5 takes on vocals including all harmonies and outside vocals.

    Lyrics
Verse 1: Stacked heavy with some guards at the door yet I'm, still ready to release what's in store. If, it's going down then it's now tonight, somebody's gotta lay down the law tonight. We, can't be told how to live our lives I've, given out all I can this time. So, knock down all the doors you made, cause here we come son demonstrating rage.
Chorus: Whoa, a full fledged attack, we won't, Go, we're gonna stop this flop as we drop this track, c'mon. Whoa, what did you think, you could sink this submarine we rock, what? No, mission impossible, unstoppable, we're bringing rock back.
Verse 2: Paranoia as we rush the scene yet, pandamonium we hop to bring. We've, gotta storm right through this industry, I can't stand up, stunned cause this music's weak. I'm hearing, gun shots grazing by my head, I've gotta feel my heart beat, praying I'm not dead. But, will it stop what we came to do, hell no, we came to rescue you.
    (Chorus)
Bridge: Guns and Roses kept it rock, Aerosmith you just can't stop. Jon Bon Jovi's melodies influenced so much of me. All these bands they kept it rock, never selling out through pop, yet so many others knock to top and yet they flop.
Rap: These hits, know the crimes you commit will fit, in my mold of dimes, to teach you leaches how to roll with rhymes. Polling primes, reaching preachers with our golden signs, sold in time yet my teachings bleaching all the whines. Olden times couldn't meet with how we hold this high. Call all the time, she freak with Star 69. No, my mind can't be leaked with and it's no remind, sold and tried, yet our secrets steady holding dry, it's no lie baby.
    (Chorus 2 x's)
